🌙 Camel ride and night in Merzouga: an authentic experience in the Sahara.
Experience the magic of the Sahara with a camel ride through the golden dunes of Merzouga, which will take you to an unforgettable overnight stay in a desert camp. As you travel through the serene landscape on camelback, you will witness a breathtaking sunset over Erg Chebbi before arriving at a traditional Berber camp. There, you will enjoy local music around the fire, a delicious Moroccan dinner, and a night under a starry sky. This nighttime adventure offers a peaceful escape into nature, culture, and the timeless beauty of the desert.
Your unforgettable desert experience begins in the late afternoon with a pickup in a 4×4 vehicle at your accommodation or at the agreed meeting point in Merzouga. We will take you to the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, where your camel caravan awaits you. After meeting your local guide, you will mount your camel and begin a leisurely ride through the golden dunes, enjoying the incredible scenery as the sun begins to set. This magical ride lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours, offering perfect moments to take photos and connect with the desert.
Upon arrival at the desert camp, you will be welcomed with traditional mint tea and escorted to your private tent. After a short rest, you can enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner prepared by the camp team, followed by Berber music with drums around the campfire. You will spend the night under a starry sky, in a comfortable tent equipped with basic amenities (or luxury options, depending on your choice).
The next morning, you will wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, a serene and unforgettable sight. After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, you will return by camel to the meeting point (or by 4×4 if you request it). From there, we will take you to your accommodation in Merzouga, where your Sahara adventure will end.
