Day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira

Your day begins with a comfortable morning pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. As we leave the city behind, the drive toward Essaouira offers beautiful scenery, including rolling hills, Berber villages, and the famous argan trees often with goats perched in their branches! We’ll make a stop at a women-run argan oil cooperative, where you can see how argan oil is traditionally extracted and used for both culinary and cosmetic purposes.

Upon arriving in Essaouira, you’ll have several hours to explore at your own pace. Wander through the colorful medina filled with art galleries, spice shops, and handmade crafts. Visit the historic Skala de la Kasbah and its seaside ramparts with sweeping ocean views. Don’t miss the bustling harbor with its blue boats and fresh seafood stalls. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, take a stroll along the beach, or simply relax and soak up the coastal atmosphere.

In the late afternoon, we’ll regroup for the drive back to Marrakech, arriving early evening with a head full of fresh sea air and great memories. End of your Marrakech Day Trip.
